This page answers common questions about using the Task Tracker, RPG Mode, and related features.
🔑 Login & Access
Q: How do I log in?
A: Go to http://10.1.1.72:1880/agent/yourname while on the main network. If you’re remote, you’ll need to connect through the VPN — contact Matthew for VPN setup.
Q: What is my username and password?
A: Your username is your first name. Your email is the one you have on file with the agency. Your initial password will be provided to you and must be changed upon first login.
Q: I can’t log in from home — what’s wrong?
A: You must use the VPN if you’re outside the main office network. Without it, the page won’t load.
📋 Tasks & Daily Use
Q: How do I mark a task as complete?
A: Click the checkbox next to the task in your Agent Page. It will move to the “Completed” section.
Q: What does “Rollover” mean?
A: Rollover tasks are those you didn’t finish today. Unchecking a completed task moves it to Rollover.
Q: What does “Waiting On” mean?
A: These are tasks you can’t finish yet because you’re waiting on someone else or additional information. Drag the task to “Waiting On” to track it.
Q: Can I add personal tasks?
A: Yes — use the Add Personal Task option. These do not count for points.
🏆 Points & Energy
Q: How are points calculated?
A: Points are based on the urgency and number of tasks you complete. This helps ensure workloads are balanced.
Q: What is “energy” in RPG mode?
A: Energy is earned by completing tasks and is used to take story actions in RPG Mode.
Q: Does unused energy carry over?
A: No — energy resets daily. Use it before the day ends.
🎮 RPG Mode
Q: What’s the difference between “Season 1 Story” and “Light and Fluffy”?
A:
- Season 1 Story is a 30-day immersive storyline with a dark, connected plot. This is our current intro season.
- Light and Fluffy is a casual, small-town themed alternative for a more relaxing experience.
Q: Can I switch story types?
A: Yes, in Settings → RPG Mode. Each mode tracks its own progress separately.
Q: How do I view past story events?
A: Click the Journal icon in your Agent Page to see all past choices and outcomes.
⚙️ Settings & Customization
Q: How do I change my layout or theme?
A: Go to Settings and select Default, Clean, or Retro under Layout Theme.
Q: Can I change my celebration animation?
A: Yes — choose Confetti, Fireworks, or Stars in the Settings tab.
Q: How do I enable Dark Mode?
A: In Settings, toggle Dark Mode on or off.
🛠 Troubleshooting
Q: My Agent Page isn’t showing any tasks — what should I do?
A: Refresh the page first. If that doesn’t work, check with Matthew to ensure you have assigned tasks.
Q: I found a bug — how do I report it?
A: Go to the Issues tab, click the cog next to “Label,” choose the most accurate label, and submit your report. You can also submit feature requests this way.
Q: Can I see if others have the same issue?
A: Yes — check the Issues tab. If it’s already reported, “star” it to indicate you’re also affected.
