RPG Mode transforms the Task Tracker from a simple to-do list into a gamified, story-driven experience. Completing your daily work earns you **energy points**, which you can spend on advancing a narrative — turning productivity into progress.

## 🏆 Current Season
|
||||
We are **currently on Season 1** of the RPG storyline.
|
||||
|
||||
- **Season Length:** 30 days.
|
||||
- **Purpose:** This is the **introductory story** designed to familiarize everyone with the RPG Mode features, mechanics, and daily decision-making.
|
||||
- **What to Expect:** Future seasons will be longer, more complex, and packed with additional story branches, deeper character interactions, and more impactful decisions once everyone is comfortable using the RPG system.
|
||||
|
||||
Season 1 still offers a fully playable and immersive experience, but it’s intended as a gentle introduction before the storylines expand.

### 1. **Seasonal Story**

||||

||||
- Your daily choices influence **flavor text**, **story tone**, and the events you’ll encounter.
|
||||
- Perfect for those who enjoy being part of an unfolding narrative with suspense and progression.
|
||||

**Example in Season 1:**

||||
- Day 4 might present you with a choice to investigate a mysterious signal, patrol a high-risk sector, or rest and recover — each action comes with unique consequences in the journal.

- A wholesome, small-town themed alternative.
|
||||
- Focuses on lighthearted, feel-good events instead of high-stakes drama.

|
||||
- Ideal for players who prefer a relaxing, cheerful tone while still earning energy and unlocking story content.

||||

## ⚡ Earning and Spending Energy
|
||||
- **Earn Energy:** Complete assigned tasks in your Agent Page.
|
||||
- **Spend Energy:** Take a story action each day. Some actions may require more energy than others.
|
||||
- Your remaining daily energy is displayed in the Agent Dashboard.
|
||||

## 📓 The Journal
|
||||
The **Journal** is your personal log of story progression.
|
||||
|
||||
- **Location:** Click the *Journal* icon on your Agent Page.
|
||||
- **Contents:**
|
||||
- A chronological record of every action you’ve taken.
|
||||
- Narrative descriptions of the outcomes of your choices.
|
||||
- Special “event entries” for major plot points or achievements.
|
||||
- **Purpose:** Lets you revisit past story moments and track your unique path through the current season.
|
||||
|
||||
**Example Entry:**
|
||||
> *Day 7 – Season 1:* You chose to follow the faint light in the forest. It led to an abandoned outpost. Inside, you found scraps of maps and a journal entry from a missing patrol. The air was colder there… and you could have sworn you were being watched.

## 🔄 Switching Between Stories
|
||||
- At any time, go to the **Settings** tab.
|
||||
- Under **RPG Mode**, choose your preferred story type:
|
||||
- *Season 1 Story* (current main arc)
|
||||
- *Light and Fluffy* (casual alternative)
|
||||
- You can change between them freely, but each mode tracks its own progress separately.
|
||||

**Tip:** Check your Agent Page daily to use your energy before the day ends — unused energy does not carry over!
